Workers' Compensation Specialist

Varsity Facility Services is looking for a Workers' Compensation Specialist to join our Corporate Office. This person is responsible for accident investigation, injury reports and managing workers' compensation claims from start to finish. The Workers' Compensation Specialist works closely with the insurance carrier and broker to get the injured employee back to work quickly. This person is responsible for administering Varsity's drug testing program. The Workers' Compensation Specialist provides accurate and timely reports to upper management. If you are great at multi-tasking and communicating well with others, this position may be the perfect fit for you. Ideal candidates will have 2 - 3 years' experience working in Risk Management, HR, or a related field. Experience working with insurance carriers or claims management is preferred. This is a full-time position with a competitive wage, health insurance, and other benefits including 401k.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
