Primary Purpose
Cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts and prospects.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary major gift officer in support of the capital campaign.
To ensure institutional control, a knowledge and commitment to follow NCAA and Big Sky Conference rules and regulations.
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects.
Serve as the primary athletic department staff member to identify, solicit, develop, and manage a nationally recognized volunteer campaign cabinet.
Develop the CASE Statement, campaign materials to include a gift range charge, naming opportunities, brochure, and correspondence packet.
Manage a portfolio of 100-200 major gift prospects.
Create a stewardship program for capital campaign to include monthly newsletter, university press release, and special recognition.
Meet with Central Development office on a regular schedule and operate within Idaho State University's prospect management system.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and one year experience and success in the development and/or fundraising field.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree and collegiate athletic experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
