We are looking for an individual to join our Mortgage Lending Department as a Mortgage Loan Advisor.
As a Mortgage Loan Advisor your primary function will be to handle mortgage loan files from application to closing and assist with processing all incoming mortgage loan files. Work together with Mortgage Loan Officers, Store Team Members, and Underwriters in achieving the goals of the department.
1. Review and process all incoming mortgage loan applications for initial underwriting.
2. Perform various preliminary underwriting reviews on loan files such as AUS findings, income verification, titles, and appraisals.
3. Review the loan for basic secondary market eligibility requirements.
4. Handle all required disclosures following RESPA and Fair Lending requirements.
5. Assist Underwriters with orders, verifications, and any other requirements throughout the loan closing process.
6. Assist MLO's and Store locations with obtaining necessary required items prior to closing.
7. Process denied and withdrawn loan applications.
8. Prepare loan packages for final underwriting submission.
9. Assist with various mortgage loan duties as required.
10. Communicate with internal and external members including vendors throughout the entire loan process.
Bachelors Degree required or equivalent experience. Excellent communication and people skills with an eye for detail. Have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task in an organized manner. Must be professional and courteous in manner, with a focus on attendance, quality and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, etc.) Sit for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computer paper, mail, etc). Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers. Reach keyboards. Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
