Position Description
As a Layout Engineer you will be responsible for the following:
o Physical design (layout) of analog and mixed-signal cells.
o Verification (DRC, LVS, ERC) and debug using the latest CAD tools.
o Chip-level assembly, optimization and verification.
o Interface with design engineers to find optimal physical design. solutions to complex analog/mixed-signal circuit designs.
o Production quality workflow and documentation procedures.
Position Requirements
Successful candidates for this position will have:
o Strong aptitude for IC layout and CAD-based design.
o Demonstrated ability to interpret design schematics, to ask clear questions, and to produce first-time-right physical designs.
o Good personal skills, willing to work in large teams.
o BS or MS in EE/ET/CS.
o Fluency in the English language.
o Demonstrate an understanding of basic electrical components, including resistors, capacitors, inductors, and MOS transistors.
o Understanding of basic semiconductor processing a plus.
