Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue We believe healthcare is a team sport and every player has something to contribute We show compassion, celebrate differences and treat one another with respect Responsibilities The CNA/Behavioral Health Technician performs selected patient care activities and is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, providing support for the patient's therapeutic treatment plan Observes and records patient information pertinent to the treatment plan, and reports this information to the staff RN and other members of the treatment team Maintaining safety checks and assessments of the individual patients and Behavioral Health environment Assists patients with physical and emotion needs, deals with patient emergencies, and works as a member of a clinical team Hands on patient care may include; physical care related to activities of daily living, emotional support, limit setting, verbal and physical redirection, nutritional support, along with support of the general patient milieu QualificationsJob Requirements:
High School or GED Current CNA Certification in the State of Idaho Current BLS certification Preferred Job Requirements:
Knowledge of medical terminology Two years of education in the behavioral health sciences or experience in the behavioral health field Recommended Skills Activities Of Daily Living (Ad Ls) Assessments Basic Life Support Behavioral Medicine Clinical Works Health Care Apply to this job.
