Essential Duties and Responsibilities Project Details:
Food Safety and Sensory ImprovementsWorking closely with our Food Safety & Sensory team on improvements throughout our Pocatello, ID manufacturing facility.
This intern will work on different types of validations, namely microwave and/or oven.
Various auditing opportunities, such as electronic batch auditing and process/equipment auditing; training will be provided.
Compile and update data in various platforms, such as the WIP Spec Smartsheet and the Meal Spec Binders on the lines.
Project mentorship with the Manager of Quality Food Systems.

EDUCATION Attending four-year college or university to attain Bachelor's degree (B.
S.
, or B.
A.
); or already awarded Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
Ideally in Food or Biological Sciences.
REQUIRED SKILLSMicrosoft Suite, including experience with pivot tables, data entry, etc.
Smartsheet experience preferred.
Needs to have good attention to detail.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, project leadership, analytical, and reasoning skills.
Self-starter, proactive, and a team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a sense of urgency.
SKILLS Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
