Outreach Specialist - Urgently Hiring
Express Employment is looking for a Medicare Outreach Specialist.
Duties and Responsibilities Make presentations or provide assistance for presentations at Senior Centers, Health Fairs, or community events.
Notify appropriate parties of fraudulent activities related to programs.
Inform target populations about programs and services and provide referrals when possible.
Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Area Agency on Aging Director.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of:
Medicare, Medicaid and local assistance agencies, veteran and senior programs and services.
Operation of standard office equipment and a personal computer, Microsoft Office software, giving presentations, database management, and related other office procedures Customer service, personal interaction, and telephone skills.
Record keeping practices and procedures.
Appropriate language use, grammar, and punctuation.
