SUMMARY
Provide routine maintenance, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Demonstrate leadership skills with department personnel and corporate structure.
Responsible to oversee, schedule, and assist in all maintenance repair.
Schedule and manage personnel within maintenance department.
Responsible for developing and maintaining an on-going preventive maintenance program.
Track cost analysis on equipment and lost down time hours.
Oversee modernization of building, equipment and grounds.
Assist with enshrining that all safety equipment is in working order and installed where required.
Maintain within levels of stress, deadlines, and occasional extended schedules.
Assist in reviews for purchase of new or used equipment.
Be proficient in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and automotive maintenance.
Troubleshoot and diagnose all building equipment, grounds, and machine problems in all areas.
Work on and maintain all air handlers, as well as replacing filters when needed.
Work on and maintain boilers and air compressors.
Troubleshoot minor electrical problems.
Hands on experience with PLC troubleshooting
Able to understand and read schematics and blueprints
Knowledge of security and fire alarm systems
Thorough knowledge of all production presses as well as maintaining and performing PMs on production presses.
Knowledge and understanding of the proper oils to be used in all equipment such as weight, types, and amounts.
Know what kinds of coolants are used within the plant.
Able to read and understand manuals for maintenance upkeep.
Have a good working knowledge of plant procedures and material flow throughout the plant.
Have a thorough knowledge of ordering parts for all plant and building maintenance supplies.
Work in a safe and professional manner, keep a clean work area, and wear proper protective equipment.
Ensure that all staff is trained and follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
Cooperation with Manages and co-workers, willing to work as a team.
Show by example: temperament, professionalism, and teamwork.
Timely arrival and regular attendance at work.
Willing to work overtime.
Willing to work any shift.
Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Maintenance staff and their daily activities to insure that all safety practices and priorities are met.
QUALIFICATIONS

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Proficient in using basic computer software (spreadsheet, word processor, email, etc)
Ability to troubleshoot and repair machine control systems, electrical systems and mechanical systems.
Proficient in basic welding techniques.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education, with complex reading, writing, math, and reasoning skills. Prefer a minimum of 10 to 12 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The ability to read, write and speak the English language with comprehension skills sufficient to understand safety standards and job performance expectations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to interpret instructions which may be furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or grab; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch and reach. The employee is required to lift and/or move pounds and lift and/or move up to pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
